Best Time to Visit

October to March is perfect — Dasara falls in October. Coorg's peak season is October–February (misty mornings). Monsoons (June–Sept) make Coorg beautifully lush but some trails close.

Getting There

Mysuru is 3 hrs from Bengaluru by road or train. Coorg is 5 hrs from Bengaluru (no train — take a private cab or KSRTC bus via Kushalnagar). Kabini is 80 km south of Mysuru.
